I'm an Animal Collective superfan from the DMV area, following their career since high school. I spent around 10 or so years hating their official debut album "Hollinndagain", An Avey Tare-Centric mesh of crunchy sound. My favorite Live album by AC is Animal Crack Box, so not liking this debut was always an odd contrast to me.

Curious of if I could reassess my previous assertion, I bought an original pressing (Yes, one of THOSE ones) and somehow, someway, an organic listen from the now 20 year old pressing changed my mind and deeply inspired me. Here are some tracks from some musical sessions after my relisten.
